The paypal buttons on our site are for calculating postage within Australia only. If you’re ordering from outside Australia please read the instructions below. Thanks!
Ordering if you’re in Australia
If you’re in Australia, ordering is very simple. Just click on the star-shaped ‘buy’ button beneath the zine you’re interested in. You’ll be redirected to paypal for payment, where you have the option to pay or keep looking at zines. It’s all fairly self-explanatory. NEWS FLASH: we finally figured out how to put ‘view cart’ buttons on the site (don’t sigh like that – have you ever tried using paypal’s merchant facilities? Circuitous doesn’t cover it), which should greatly streamline your online zine ordering experience… Postage is calculated separately, and works out at roughly 70c per zine, which covers postage, packaging and the fees paypal charge us. It’s unlikely to happen, but if we have made any mistakes or we accidentally overcharge you, we will refund the difference.
Ordering from outside Australia
For all orders outside Australia, don’t use the paypal buttons. Instead, get yourself a pen and paper. Add up the total price of the zines you want plus their total weight (each zine is listed with its weight in grams). Use the charts below to calculate the postage. Send the total amount plus postage in Australian dollars via paypal to takecarezines@gmail.com, listing the order details in the ‘note to merchant field’ (or in a separate email). Get in touch if you need help. Sorry this is cumbersome, but for the time being we have decided to sacrifice convenience for accuracy.
