Yep, you’ll notice that quite a bit of stuff has sold out in the online shop – don’t panic, we’re in the process of doing a stock take and putting some new stuff up! Thanks for all the orders, keep ’em coming…
It’s happening again! Do as the the flyer says, save the date(s), and apply for a table by filling in this form by 22 March!
Also, I’ve done a quick tidy up of the mail order. All of the Refugee Art Project zines are now BACK IN STOCK. Probably won’t be long until they sell out again, so get in quick if you’ve been hanging out for them.
We had a fantastique time at Festival of the Photocopier in February, too. Giant thanks to our friends at Sticky for all their efforts. Here’s a shot of some of the zines I picked up at the fair:
Our friends at Jitter Records host the inaugural Jitter Fest next Sunday in Sydney! The dress up theme is punk rock xmas: how can you resist?
Speaking of XMAS: the following weekend – Sunday 14 December – we’ll once again open the doors to our secret headquarters – Junior Gazette – for a zine open day so you can get all the zines you want from the Take Care stable, sans postage. More details to come, stay tuned!
Hello, finally found the time and head-space to do a bit of long overdue shop-site retuning. We have added descriptions to some of the zines that have been languishing, undescribed, for the past month, including the Refugee Art Project Zines, The Good Son, I am a Camera #17, La Petite Mort, The Time You Were in Paris and The Nostalgia Prescription.
The aim is to have all the descriptions updated before adding any more new zines, of which, as aforementioned, we have many. And many and many.
While I’m here, let me tell you that we will be at this zine fair, next weekend!
Organised by the City of Sydney with the aid of the estimable Nicholas Beckett, we hope to see you there!
We are drowning in zines. We’re back from holiday and slowly getting back into updating the Take Care shop. We’ve got quite a back log of new zines to add and also quite a few descriptions to update, so keep your eyes peeled over the next couple of weeks, cuz we’re gonna get stuck into it. Thanks everyone who’s ordered from the new site since we launched it! We trust it’s been slightly easier to use than the old set up.
Also, I just wanted to mention that one of the issues of YOU that arrived this week is particularly beautiful. Pick up a copy from Sticky in Melbourne, or from us when you place an order for other zines. (We haven’t put YOU on the new site yet – sorry for the tardiness – but let us know in the note to merchant field in Paypal if you’d like it to be added to your order.)
